Régine Remy is an architect based in Paris. She works with clients on a wide variety of projects and programmes. Intervention on an existing building or new construction in a built environment represent the two main lines of her activity. This architect is capable of working in delicate contexts from a heritage point of view (protected sectors, perimeter of a historic monument, registered monument), insofar as she is perfectly familiar with the particularities of old buildings (their pathologies, old construction techniques and restoration techniques). "If I had to describe my preferences and my sensitivity as an architect, I would say that it is first and foremost the place with its identity that will set the tone. My style will therefore vary from one project to another, but will always be marked by a preference for pure and timeless forms, materials with a strong "materiality" with an apparent implementation allowing the patina to appear, such as stone, brick, wood and steel.

A project always begins by listening carefully to the needs, desires and financial possibilities of the client, coupled with an in-depth study of the existing building. It is only successful if it manages to combine the satisfaction of the former with the enhancement of the latter.
