ACD ARCHITECTURE CONCEPT is available for new projects

The ACD agency was born from the desire to put the creative desires of two professionals with atypical backgrounds at the service of a wide range of clients: Laurent Devin and Benoît Doysié.

Laurent Devin, 51 years old, was born in Metz. After studying science, he began a professional career in industry.

At the dawn of his forties, he decided to satisfy a deep and long-standing desire to create and therefore chose to retrain professionally. Laurent Devin graduated as an architect from the École Nationale Supérieure de Paris Val de Seine. This was followed by almost four years of experience in a Parisian agency where he was entrusted with school projects, from design to delivery. After obtaining the HMONP (Habilitation to Project Management in his own name), this architect decided to create his own agency.

Benoît Doysié, 54, was born in Beauvais, where he worked in the family firm as a draughtsman, specialising in industrial building design.

At the age of 29, he founded Benoît CJ Doysié Design, where for nearly 20 years he has been bringing concepts to life for the restaurant, retail and hotel industries.

A common client led to the meeting of Laurent Devin and Benoît Doysié, who was then looking for a partner in order to invest in a wider range of projects. Indeed, faced with the growing demand for the creation of shops on the outskirts of towns, and for the improvement of housing, the ACD agency is able to provide complete solutions ranging from feasibility studies to applications for town planning permission.

Architecture is practiced in many different ways throughout the world, and the image that the public has of it is often limited or even simplistic. What is the role of the architect? How do they practice their profession? Architecture can mean major national or international competitions, the construction of emblematic works, the highlighting of new technologies or sustainable technologies. But it can also mean installing a library in an office. The common point of all this is the project and it is through this conception of the project that the agency has built its practice of the architectural profession. Thus, the words of Laurent Devin's first professor of architecture, Magali Fuchs, have become a leitmotif: "there is no such thing as a small or large project, but there are only projects". This maxim, which applies to all projects, is essential for these architects.

Thus, Laurent Devin and Benoît Doysié try to apply the same rigour and the same design methods in all their projects.
