ZONE OF UTOPIA is available for new projects

ZONE OF UTOPIA ( 理想建筑 ) was established in France in 2017. It is a professional design office focusing on urban planning, urban design, architectural design and interior design. The office is located in Paris, France.

The founder, Dr. Qiang Zou, obtained a master's degree in architecture from L'École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris - Malaquais, and became a registered architect in France. In 2014, Qiang Zou obtained a doctorate in art history from the University of Paris, La Sorbonne.

From 2004 to 2019, Dr. Qiang Zou was project manager for Ateliers Jean Nouvel, the internationally renowned architecture firm led by Pritzker Prize winner Jean Nouvel. Qiang Zou has also been involved in the construction of various large-scale, world-renowned projects over a period of 15 years, including the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi, La Philharmonie in Paris, La Défense Signal Tower in Paris, the Danish Center Hall in Copenhagen, the Archipel theatre in Perpignan, the green One Central Park tower in Sydney, the Lux* hotel in Chengdu and many others. As project leader, Dr Qiang Zou chaired the competition for the National Art Museum of China, which resulted in Jean Nouvel winning the final design right for the project in 2014.
