In 2006, Jérôme Masurel and his team established LAM, a unique architectural practice that brings together a talented community of architects, engineers, graphic designers, urban planners and art historians. For LAM, every project is a collective undertaking, an evolving process and a democratic work.

LAM explores the intimacy of each commission using the mechanisms of the art of conversation and consultation. These architects organize participatory workshops with future users to write, anticipate and invent uses, assess the technical, spatial and financial aspects of the work to be carried out, and define the project's strategic objectives. Jérôme Masurel renovates old buildings in collaboration with a structural design office. We work in all types of spaces and for all uses: workspaces, commercial spaces and housing. Thanks to the use of contemporary technologies and our inspiration drawn from vernacular buildings, our agency is able to participate in the renovation of twentieth-century buildings, creating essential, minimalist architecture".

> CONSTRUCTION

LAM places great importance on listening, discussing, analyzing and making suggestions based on plans. The architects are responsible for coordinating the work of engineers and contractors, and for monitoring the construction site through to delivery. Versatile and passionate, this team is committed to making the construction site as accessible as possible during the building's birth or metamorphosis, to encourage local involvement and enable ownership of the site.
