ATELIER L2 is available for new projects

Driven by the ambition to express the specificity of environments and the particularities of expectations, Pierre Lelièvre and Julie de Legge created Atelier L2 which combines needs and dreams. They imagine specific proposals as close as possible to the uses and functions they require and design spaces that are easy to live in, welcoming to the body and its movements, keen to produce a pleasure of a place.

The approach of Pierre Lelièvre and Julie de Legge is enriched by the complementarity of the disciplines practiced within the agency: architecture, scenography and photography; and proposes the reflection best suited to the issues of each project.

Our work is anchored in the search for architectural coherence at all scales: from the scenographic intervention to the architectural project. Each proposal is designed to ensure quality, ease of use and fair contextual integration. We seek to transform each constraint into added value, whether programmatic, technical, regulatory or environmental. The workshop thus strives, for each of the projects on which it works, to implement simple rules, in a good manner. meaning, at the service of the program, the place, the users.

Our common and respective experiences guarantee project owners the essential know-how to carry out a project rigorously. Our years of collaboration allow us to acquire experience in all phases of a project, but also to establish trust, a quality of dialogue and listening with project owners and technical partners.

Combining a fascination for dreamlike images, mastery of the tools that allows them to be produced and a sincere attachment to reality and its preservation, the agency is always keen to show these contradictions in order to transform them into projects. The result is a mixture of references to the imagination and stated concerns for respecting the urban context, usage and environmental data.

Our approach to studies, while adapting to the particularities of each project, follows a rigorous framework of phases of reflection, production, exchanges and validation. This requirement continues during site monitoring until delivery.
