BOK.A is available for new projects

The company BOK.A is an architecture studio based in Paris.

Karina BORODAI and her team specialize in research into new materials and development in architectural construction.

The studio also has a center which is dedicated to art, conservation and exhibitions. Always on the lookout to find young artists to exhibit at the Art House by BOK.A.

The main aim is to create bridges between the world of architecture, art and engineering. This is BOK.A’s definition of a successful project!

The projects currently being implemented are in both the public and private domains. Among these, Karina is working on the interior and facade renovation of a Parisian restaurant as well as the total change of the facade of a chic restaurant located in Paris. Also underway is the rehabilitation of 250 square meter offices in Saint Brieux, in Brittany. As well as several private apartments.

The vision of architecture by BOK.A is as follows

      “Less is more”.

The style of their achievements could be defined as Japanese-Swiss.

The simplicity of Japanese architecture and the detail of the Swiss.

This studio was founded by Karina Borodaï in Paris, where she began her architectural studies. Japanese inspiration comes from her study trip to Japan in 2014. This trip totally transformed and inspired her and this is what gives this style to this studio today. Karina graduated from the Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2017.

She then joined the offices of one of the best architectural agencies Herzog & De Meuron. She will stay there for 3 years and will work on the agency's biggest projects such as:

• 478 Badaevski, urban development

               Moscow, Russia

This project is defined as a redevelopment project for the former industrial zone located in the heart of Moscow.

• 307 Triangle Tower

               Paris, France

The Triangle Tower offers multiple programs. It will be built at Place de la Porte de Versailles. It is a project with many functionalities and perspectives.
