LEA IRLES ARCHITECTE is available for new projects

Léa Irles is an architect, graduated from ENSA Toulouse in July 2016. She has been working on her own since January 2022, after having been an employee and project manager in different agencies, in Paris (Architecture Raphaël Gabrion), in Toulouse (Bétillon & Freyermuth Architectes) or in Bristol (3.10 Studio Architect) in England.

Her various experiences, in France and abroad, have allowed her to discover different ways of living and practicing architecture, to enrich her knowledge, while working on projects with very varied contexts and scales (operations collective housing, public facilities, extensions, renovations, furniture design, etc.). Now back in Aveyron, her land of origin, where she finally settled down, she takes pleasure in highlighting the local architecture of her department, extremely rich and diversified, and in reinterpreting ways of living to adapt them to current uses.

For her, architecture consists of solving a complex equation with multiple input data, the three main ones being: the site, the program and the budget. Each project is unique and corresponds to a subjective response, which is intended to be as accurate as possible, to this problem. It is about defining the potential of a site, a project and asserting them to build sensitive spaces anchored in their territory. Architecture takes place over the long term, she modifies our landscapes. This is why the projects developed seek to fit as harmoniously and soberly as possible into their site, to find a timeless style, which makes their insertion into the site obvious a posteriori, as if they had always been there.

Léa Irles strives to build spaces that are consistent with a given context and the use of its future inhabitants, while promoting local know-how. It thus advocates the importance of site monitoring and mastery of detail by the architect, to guarantee the coherence and quality of the project.
