ARS Architecte is available for new projects

The Ars Architecte agency was created in 2019 by Emmanuelle Ridoret, DPLG architect.

Emmanuelle Ridoret is originally from La Rochelle, which she left to study architecture in Bordeaux and Paris. She remained attached to the environment of her childhood, while traveling and working for g in different countries (Austria, Liechtenstein, United States, Switzerland).

After years as a project manager in an agency in Paris and a diploma in High Environmental Quality Engineering and Architecture in Paris La Villette, she decided to return to the ocean and devote herself to housing and essential architecture. The Ars Architecte agency, born from a desire for sea and light, is located on the Ile de Ré.

From her experience in Austrian Vorarberg and Switzerland, Emmanuelle Ridoret acquired strong notions of the environment, as much for form as for materials and process. The life cycle of buildings and their components, their larger-scale footprints and the necessary energy consumption become an integral part of the studies from the first draft.

Her travels to different horizons have influenced his perception of spaces, ways of living and thinking, bringing a broad openness to worlds that coexist, according to the culture and needs of each person.

Emmanuelle Ridoret has developed her experience in different agencies, on various projects, in public and private orders, high schools and school groups, clinics and Ephpad, housing and businesses, ideas competitions and town planning studies.

The project is born from the response of a program, by studying light, wind, volumes, insertion into the landscape, access, proportions, colors, orientations, connections, the different perspectives created. Each site is different, each project is a possible response, a story, a story, an atmosphere.

Being an architect means knowing how to listen and understand desire and desire, knowing how to respond to regulatory and technical constraints, knowing how to realize a vision of development and means, knowing how to surprise and propose.

Being an architect means adapting to each interlocutor in order to communicate with complete confidence.

The work at the Ars Architecte agency is based on analysis and respect for the context, with particular attention to the sustainability of the works delivered. The design becomes evident between spaces, luminosity, rhythms and harmony.
