The Or de Terre workshop specializes in bioclimatic design and the use of eco-responsible materials (local and natural resources), both in the rehabilitation of old buildings and in new eco-responsible constructions: raw earth, stone, wood, straw, hemp , rice husk for individuals, associations and professionals.

The agency provides complete architectural and project management missions (from sketch to compliance) throughout the Alpes-Maritimes and Var region: personalized project design, micro-habitat design and lightweight habitats , obtaining work authorizations and building permits, management and coordination of work. But also, support and advice for self-construction (vernacular architecture erected by the inhabitants themselves) for the general public and professionals. The agency also provides training in the implementation of insulation and ecological coatings.

Indeed, thanks to materials sciences and new technologies, the materials most suited to global warming, thermal variations and fire risk have become a reworked mix of biosourced and geosourced materials (combined principle of insulation and inertia of these materials)

These materials, possibly with other materials such as rice husk, lavender straw, wood wool etc. are officially validated by professional rules for all construction stakeholders.

This allows residents:

1) To be guaranteed by the ten-year term of the architect and the stakeholders he coordinated during construction,

2) To benefit from thermal comfort and an environment that preserves their health by avoiding the use of carcinogenic products,

3) To benefit from a drastic reduction in energy costs compared to conventional construction.
