L’atelier de rien du tout is an architectural agency created in 2020 in Angers. They mainly supports individuals with their renovation, extension, elevation or transformation projects of their living space. It can also support renovation projects for offices or places open to the public, provided that the project decision-makers are among the future users.

Firstly, L’atelier de rien du tout supports you in defining your specifications (the program) starting from the uses in the current living space and by sweeping together all the issues raised, in the form questionnaire and interview sessions. The Sketch will then make it possible to test different distributions of spaces in order to help choose the final solution which will be developed subsequently. The Preliminary Project and Project phases will determine more and more precisely the materialities and construction details in order to file the administrative documents with the town hall (Prior Declarations or Building Permit) and to consult the companies to prepare the site for come…

L’atelier de rien du tout pays particular attention to the environmental impact of the future construction: Minimize the waterproofing surface of the ground, seek to install materials from reuse and benefit from careful removal of materials available during demolition, use biosourced materials, etc.

L’atelier de rien du tout at all is part of different collectives involved in the Angevin territory:

• MATEmorphose, a group of professionals which attempts to structure the sector of reuse of building materials in the department, led by Matière Grise
• Bicycle boxes, an association bringing together cycling professionals. The geographical location of the projects monitored by the workshop must be easily accessible by bicycle (bicycle+train possibility). It is not uncommon to find craftsmen on bicycles (plumber, electrician, carpenter, landscaper, etc.) also on the construction sites monitored by the workshop!
• Renovation architects, a national and regional association of architects focused on the issues of energy renovation of housing.
