THE AGENCY

In 2022, Mesnil Architectures was founded by Antonin Bohl, Mathias Lefebvre and Arthur Schmitt, with previous collaborative experience in an agency for seven years.

Mesnil - which means "small house" in Latin and "rural estate" in old French - defends an architectural approach focused on the pleasure of use, resilient and rooted, claiming to build together focused on the economy of resources and the urgency to take your time.

Valuing the diversity of practices and contexts, the agency is committed to promoting a project approach that is rigorous, sensitive and intuitive.

Under the aegis of our commitment to reduce the artificialization of land, to control our environmental footprint, as well as to promote the reuse or transformation of materials available on site, Mesnil promotes the renovation of existing heritage.

THE RENOVATION

In an environment where sustainability and conservation of resources are essential, Mesnil considers renovation as a chance to revive abandoned buildings, respecting their history and authenticity.
