SASU PRIMITIVE is available for new projects

PRIMITIVE is an architecture workshop created in 2016 by Fanny CHAMPINOT, HMONP architect specializing in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of everyday architecture.

Originally from Ain, having studied in Rouen as well as in Stuttgart, then worked in Lyon to finally settle in Morestel, Fanny was able to study different architectural typologies, but also different constructive techniques, which led her to to know well the territories in which she had settled.

Having realized very early on that a building is nothing but an empty shell without its occupant, and that an architecture that did not take into account the needs of its user(s) could cause real damage to the life of these, she has strived to diversify its project typologies as much as possible, while remaining in the private domain, in order to remain close to people's realities, both on a private and professional level.

Putting people above all else in her projects, she created PRIMITIVE, a workshop which strives to return to the essential in architecture.

Because PRIMITIVE is a multitude of things; First of all, the notion of the initial, the original, the primitive form of all architecture, responding to a primary need of the being who occupies it. But also primitive societies, striving to live as closely as possible to their needs, while respecting the world around them, the biodiversity and the materials present on site. And finally the primitive, mathematical rationality, which allows us to remain anchored to reality, to the factual problems of the modern world.

And this is how any architectural project is designed at primitive, by listening to your needs first, and placing them in a context, a site, a need to respect the balance in place, and adding practical and fiancial realities and technical necessary.
