UN POINT QUATRE - ARCHITECTURE is available for new projects

Originally from Pau, Camille CREPIN graduated from the Paris Belleville School of Architecture in 2010. Technician at heart; She also followed, in parallel with her studies, an engineering course at Arts et Métiers in Paris. Expertly constructed, her career took her, from Paris to Lima, via Copenhagen and Madrid, to work for big names such as the BIG agency or the architects Dietmar Feichtinger and Marc Barani. Alongside them, she participated in large-scale public projects such as universities, courts, sports centers, etc.

Camille then set up her own agency in 2014 in Pau before joining forces in 2019 with the creation of SARL Plan B, in Hossegor. At the end of 2022, she left this adventure to found UnPointQuatre Architecture. Why 1.4? Because it is the latitude of Hossegor, Capbreton, Seignosse, etc., that of a territory in which Camille is deeply anchored and for which she wishes to work. The agency asserts the fact that an architectural project cannot have quality without being deeply anchored in its site and that the necessary connection with the urban fabric and the environmental landscape is a determining element for the composition of the project.

Camille is notably at the origin of the Lekua tertiary project in Bayonne (9000m² of commerce, offices, services, etc.) and the new building (Restaurant + head office) Jack's Burger in Saint Geours de Maremne.

In the current context of the Climate and Resilience law with an objective of zero net artificialization (ZAN) by 2050, UnPointQuatre Architecture is working with its partners on innovative solutions to meet the need for territorial preservation:

  • Demolition / reconstruction: Example: the Cap Biscaye project in Capbreton. This 26-unit project, currently under construction, replaces a block which included a disused hotel and a detached house.
  • Reversibility of the building: Anticipating from the design stage the different destinations that could be used for a building makes it possible to improve its durability while meeting usage needs. For example, a seasonal housing project in Hossegor.  The programmatic adaptations are made possible by the simplicity of the project's forms and the choice of wooden construction. Wooden construction and the use of bio-sourced materials also allow the buildings to ultimately be dismantled, the materials reused, and the land returned to its original state.
  • Renovate the existing: Optimizing the existing, for example uninhabited housing, is fundamental to avoid the deterioration of buildings. This is all the more true when it is a listed building. The agency is currently renovating a former holiday center into a residential house. It is also rehabilitating a former summer camp into a college and student rooms in Vieux-Boucau.
  • Gentle densification: The idea is to densify/cut up plots, for example by creating new housing in large gardens and/or enlarging an existing house.
  • Reconversion of wastelands: Industrial wastelands, vast and often located near city centers, offer strong potential for urban development. (example: co-living student residence project in the BAB - 5000 m²).
