ATELIER MANUELLE ARCHITECTURE is available for new projects

Atelier Manuelle is an agency focused on individuals—individual housing: renovations, extensions, new builds—but also on professionals with smaller projects—retail/shops, restaurants/cafés, hotels/b&bs.

Each project is unique. The agency's approach is to offer spaces that fit the clients' lifestyle and provide a pleasant living environment. The act of living is unique to each individual, and together we will find yours. Architecture is designed to adapt to your needs, not the other way around. Thus, undertaking an architectural project means embarking on an adventure, connecting with the architect, and developing teamwork, ultimately aiming for the satisfaction of all.

Eco-construction and responsible architecture are among the agency's architectural priorities. If you are not familiar with these concepts, I will be happy to inform you about new construction practices.

About my background

Originally from Finistère, I went to Strasbourg to study. The Grand-Est region, eclectic and rich in cultural diversity, allowed me to experience a broad and open architectural culture. The region's geographical location, and its numerous borders with European countries concerned about the human impact and respect for nature, have enabled local stakeholders to develop eco-construction in the Alsace region for many years. It was during my studies that this field became an important part of my architectural practice. This interest has allowed me to develop a special relationship with materials, but also in the search for an architecture that is appropriate, integrated into its environment, and responsive to the commission. Several years of experience within various architectural firms, as well as some time spent in isolation, have allowed me to consolidate my knowledge of the field and to affirm the direction of my architectural approach, which can be summed up by the phrase "doing better with less." Reuse, geo- and bio-sourced construction, and working with existing structures are the studio's core values.
