MARIELOUISE was founded in 2021 in Arles by Emma Rigoulot and Maxence Mompeu-Lebel, and stands out for its approach firmly rooted in its local community.

Young and dynamic, we offer committed architecture, seeking to showcase local resources: expertise and materials.

Each project is an opportunity for careful research into the context, constraints, needs, desires, available resources, environmental impact, etc., allowing us to explore all possible building solutions.

We prioritize the use of bio- and geo-sourced materials sourced directly from our local area (ashlar, rice straw, earth, wood), and we strive to design clear and understandable projects.

We prefer to speak of residents or users rather than clients and reject competitive thinking in favor of collaboration and constant dialogue between the various project stakeholders. We view collaboration as an opportunity to learn and evolve our practice.

We're here to help you create and inhabit your own space while constantly questioning how this is possible today.
