ATELIER MARIAM LOCATE is available for new projects

Based on the island of Réunion, architect Mariam Locate works internationally, from India to Mayotte, Mauritius and Madagascar. 

A graduate of the Paris La Seine school of architecture in 1999, with 18 years of experience, including 13 years as a freelance architect, she currently works on a wide range of projects for private and professional clients, from commercial buildings, hotels and offices, to residential projects such as private villas.

Mariam Locate’s ideal conception of architecture is projects that evoke an emotional response, masterfully and creatively expressed, designed with curiosity, to comprehend a subject in its broader context, from engineering to artistic professions. For her, it’s important to understand the issues at play in order to take action.

Made up of a multicultural team coming from international backgrounds, the architecture practice Atelier Mariam Locate combines contemporary and traditional approaches, innovation and in-depth studies of both the environmental and cultural context.
